Product Name: Cooling Tower (SLJ Series)
SLJ Series industrial cooling towers are used to cool water instead chilling it. Cooling towers use the evaporative cooling effect to transfer heat out to the environment. Water is dropped through a fill material while air is moved across the fillers, transferring the heat from the water into the air.
The major component of a cooling tower is a fan to move the air through the fillers. Cooling towers work for cooling higher temperature water. Our cooling towers can drop the water temperature about 10 degrees Fahrenheit, for example, from 95˚F Entering Water Temperature (EWT) down to 85˚F Leaving Water Temperature (LWT).
Cooling towers can be used alone as a stand-alone unit or in conjunction with a water-cooled chiller.
